Cancellation Policy

Classroom Policy

In order to provide the most efficient class experience, we ask that all students adhere to the following classroom policies:

No guests – We only allow registered students to attend our courses. Learning lifesaving skills requires the student’s full and undivided attention. For this reason, we do not allow children or other guests to attend with the registered student.

Timely student arrival – To minimize disruptions during the class, and to ensure an equal learning opportunity for all students, we require that all students must arrive on time, preferably 10 minutes before class starts. Students who arrive later than 20 minutes past the class start time (10 minutes past the class start time for BLS Renewal) will not be allowed to attend class and need to be rescheduled.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that situations beyond your control may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, please contact us at least 2 business days before your scheduled class date by calling the office at (626) 441-3406 during office hours (Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00 pm).

REFUND POLICY

For refunds requested LESS THAN 2 BUSINESS DAYS before your scheduled class date – no refunds will be given for cancellations or no shows.

For refunds for blended-learning classes* that include an online portion and an in-person portion – only a partial refund can be provided to refund the in-person portion. The online portion is non-refundable as online courses provide access codes that cannot be returned. No refunds will be given for cancellations, no shows, or refunds requested LESS THAN 2 BUSINESS DAYS before your scheduled skills date or more than 90 days after the date you registered for the class.

*Blended learning classes refer only to HeartCode BLS, HeartCode ACLS, HeartCode PALS, NRP 7th Edition Provider Including Online Exam, Heartsaver CPR AED – Online Part 1 and Skills Evaluation, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED – Online Part 1 and Skills Evaluation, Heartsaver First Aid – Online Part 1 and Skills Evaluation, and Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED – Online Part 1 and Skills Evaluation.

**Classes may be RESCHEDULED within 90 DAYS of the original class date. A maximum of 2 reschedules are allowed for each class per registered student – any additional reschedules will result in total loss of credit. Credit expires after 90 days after original class date.
